Welcome to MIKA The MIKA DOMAIN is located at 1200 m above sea level, in Mazraat El Siyaad - Kartaba- Jbeil, also known as Jurd Kartaba in the Lebanese mountain.
Following 30 dormant years, the orchard renewal started in 2007 when new apple and cherry varieties were planted.
Its fertile loamy-sand soil makes MIKA DOMAIN suitable for Apple and Cherry production providing good water drainage in the roots zone.
The North East to South West land exposure and the location on a mountain side provides full sun and good air circulation especially during early spring frosts, where cold air flows down away.
The IPM (Integrated Pest Management) application, as specified by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), makes the quality Apple and Cherry of the MIKA DOMAIN production a step closer to a global biological product goal.  |
